HEYTEA Gift Cards
Balance and top-up run through the HEYTEA app. The useful question is not how to buy one but how far a given amount goes, so this page works that out against the real menu.

Making a Gift Card Go Further
Spend It on Mondays
Double points apply to what the balance buys, so the same card returns twice the rewards if the visits land on a Monday.
Skip the Toppings
A Cheese Cloud (Original) at $2.88 on every cup turns a $50 card from 5 drinks into 3.
Use It in Store, Not on Delivery
Delivery prices sit above the in-store menu and the balance does not apply there anyway. App pickup keeps both advantages.

Before You Buy One
A HEYTEA gift card is only useful to someone who can reach a HEYTEA. The chain runs51 US shops across 10 states, which sounds broad and is not: New York and California hold most of them, and whole regions have none at all.
There is one shop in the entire Midwest and nothing in the South outside Houston. Anyone in Denver, Atlanta, Phoenix or most of the country between the coasts cannot spend the card without travelling. Check the store locatoragainst their address first.
The second thing to check is format. A digital card arrives by email and works the same day, which makes it the right choice for a last-minute gift. A physical card has to be bought in a shop, which means you need to reach one yourself.
The third is size. A card that covers most of a drink but not all of it forces the recipient to add their own money at the counter, which is a worse gift than one that covers a full visit including a topping. Round up rather than down.
Gift cards do not stack with app rewards points in a way that doubles the value. The purchase still earns points for whoever redeems it, so the card is worth its face value plus the normal earn rate rather than anything more.
